Deepwater FCU CEO Ida Bowen Joins NJCUL Services Corporation Board of Directors

HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. – Ida Bowen, president/CEO of Deepwater Industries FCU, has been appointed to the NJCUL Services Corporation Board.

Bowen has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Deepwater Industries FCU since February 2015. During her time at the helm, she initiated a renovation of the credit union’s facility and the opening of the first two branches in the operation’s 82-year history in 2017. She directs a comprehensive marketing program that has led to an increased number of new services and products. 

“Ida exhibits dynamic direction and an innovative mindset in her role as a credit union leader,” said NJCUL Services Corporation Chairman David Frankil. “She will no doubt be an asset to the NJCUL Services Corporation Board as we continue to seek and vet vendors to provide valuable products and services for our member credit unions.”

Bowen earned an Associate in Applied Science Degree from Salem Community College, and a Bachelor of Science Degree and an MBA from Wilmington University. She was honored as Salem Community College’s 2017 Distinguished Alumna.
